Our Applications may be offered as Ad-Supported services, with optional in-app purchases or subscriptions available to enhance the user experience, such as removing ads.

2. Information About Users We Collect and Store

The Application collects certain information when you download and register. Registration is not mandatory, but some features may be unavailable unless you create an account.

 

Registration: To become a User, you must create an account on one of our Sites. When registering for a Linguist – Language Game account, you will be required to provide an email address, username, and password.

 

We do not use your personal information to contact you for reasons unrelated to your use of the Sites or for commercial purposes outside the business of the Company. Your personal information will never be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

 

3. Third-Party Services and Disclosure of Information

The Applications utilize third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies regarding data handling. Below is the Privacy Policy of the third-party service provider currently used by our Applications:

The service provider may disclose user provided and automatically collected Information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
  • when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules outlined in this privacy statement.

4. Data Collection Opt-Out

You can halt all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

 

5. Accessing, Correcting & Deleting Your Personal Information

If you wish to access, update, or request the permanent deletion of your personal information from our servers, please contact us at info@catharticgames.com. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that deleting your personal information may require us to terminate your account and may prevent you from using the Sites.

 

As long as your account remains active, we will retain your personal information in accordance with this Policy. If your information is deleted—either by request or due to inactivity—we will use standard electronic methods to remove your personal information from our records.

 

We will also retain any and all information that we are required to retain under any applicable laws for the full duration of time required under those laws.

In the event the personal information of a User is disclosed as the result of any breach of security of the Sites or its servers, regardless of who is at fault, we will take steps to advise all known affected Users within a reasonable timeframe of learning of the breach.

 

7. Children’s Privacy

The Applications do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Company discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers. This Policy may be updated and amended from time to time. We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time, and any amended Policy is effective upon posting to the Sites.
